Letter from the Editor
It gives me great pleasure to Welcome you to the PREMIERE issue of Island Inspiration Magazine!
Inspiration is a source that affects us on every level of our lives; our mind, body, spirit, and earth. It is a feeling, an intuitive thought, a joyful purpose-filled energy. It is responsible for all creativity, inventions, and abundance in our lives. Without it, we are destined to a life of drudgery. Inspiration is the water that nurtures the world and allows it to bloom at its fullest potential.
Martha's Vineyard is a haven for inspiration. She has always been a magnet drawing people to her. She inspires us to write our novels, paint our pictures, heal our bodies, connect with our spirits, and raise our families. We live in one of the best places on earth to tap into this powerful source.
My mission, is to spread the word that inspiration is not something that we must wait to find us, rather something we can seek out. In bringing this premiere issue to you, I was privileged to seek out and find amazing invividuals. I am deeply grateful to our contributors, our advertisers, and all those who believe and support the message of island inspiration. You have all touched me deeply.
I am passionately dedicated to bringing you more messages of hope, and planting seeds of thought through island inspiration's bi-monthly issues. I have future plans to deliver ii magazine to you, the reader, in eco-friendly print form as well.
I believe our greatest resource in life, especially here on the island, resides in each other. Thus, ii provides a platform to share your ideals through submitting uplifting articles, poems, photos, dreams, videos, and quotes that inspire and educate. I encourage you to find your inner voice, contribute to one of our departments, and let it inspire others. As we all know, it is in giving, that we all receive.
Just like every flower has its divine time to bloom, I feel that the challenging times of today mark the divine time to present island inspiration to the world. Sit back, and enjoy the positive energy and uplifting ideals found within these pages. It is my intention that we will all "Get Inspired" and continue to live our best lives ever!
