Chakra Meditation

Relax, allow your feet to rest on the floor, your hands in a relaxed receiving position and your eyes closed. Because this is your time, your time to be one with God and for God to be one with you.

Visualize yourself, it's early on a warm summer morning, the sun is just coming up.  I rained during the night and there is still a faint mist. 

As you look over your left shoulder you see a rainbow, a rainbow that was placed there just for you.  Look at the rainbow.

See the color red, the color of a big beautiful delicious apple.  See the color red, the color of the base chakra.

See the color red and know that you have the time and energy to do everything you want and need to do. See the color red, take it, ingest it and make it yours.

See the color orange.  See the color orange, the color of a beautiful, sweet, Valencia Orange, see the color orange, the color of courage and wisdom.  See the color orange and know that you have the courage to make your decisions and the wisdom to follow them through.  See the color orange and make it yours.

See the color yellow, happy bright sunshiny yellow, see the color of yellow, the color of the solar plexus and know that the joy that you so rightfully deserve is yours, see the color yellow and make it yours.

See the color of green, the color of peace. See the color of green, the color of the new spring leaves or a freshly mowed lawn.  See the color of green, the color of the heart chakra and feel the peace in your heart. See the color of green, take it and make it yours.

See the color of blue, the color of the sky on a clear summer day.  See the color of blue, the color of the throat chakra. See the color of blue and know that the truth that you speak is being heard.  See the color of blue, take it and make it yours.

See the color of indigo, that deep blue violet indigo.  See the color of indigo, the color of the Third Eye chakra. See the color of indigo and know that the spiritual sight that you crave is yours. See the color of indigo, take it and make it yours.

Now see the color of Violet, the color of the Crown chakra.  See the color of violet, the color of healing, see the color of violet going to every cell and every organ in your body.  See the color of violet, take it and make it your own.

Now see the color of white, the summation of all colors of light.  Visualize this color of white surrounding you like a beautiful white opalescent bubble.  See the color white and visualize yourself rising up gently, past the trees, past the clouds, past the stars, out into the ethos to see anyone or anything that you have to see.

You are safe, go.

(Take a few minutes to allow yourself to travel into the quiet)

Now gently and easily imagine yourself coming back.
Through  the violet for the healing, and the indigo for the spiritual sight.
Through the blue knowing the truth that you speak is being heard,
and the green for peace in your heart.
Through the yellow for the joy that you so rightfully deserve,
and the orange for the courage to make your decisions and the wisdom to follow them through.
Now through the color red for all of the time and energy for everything you want and need to do.
Quietly, become conscious of your breathing, wiggle your fingers and your toes and open your eyes.

It was a wonderful journey.
