Communicating with Spirit

It's important to know that there are several factors involved when communicating with those in the Spirit world.

Everything that lives has an energy field, a vibration, and a frequency. We do not all vibrate on the same frequency. For example, FM radio stations cannot be picked up on the AM dial. The alignment of the frequencies are not compatible. This may be one reason that the contact you thought would be made through the medium does not occur.
The medium, the person receiving the reading or sitter, and the communicating Spirit(s) all play an important role. First we must consider the ability of the Spirit to communicate. Just as people here in the physical world have varying abilities to communicate with one another, so it is in the world of Spirit. We do not pass on and suddenly become enlightened angelic beings. Our personalities stay intact. A good rule of thumb is as follows - if the person was a good communicator here in the physical world, chances are that they are still a good communicator now in the world of Spirit.

A medium cannot guarantee that you will hear from a particular person (Spirit). If you, the sitter, come to a session with an open heart and are willing to listen, participate, and validate those who have come to speak with you, you will get much more out of your session than if you were to show up with a prove-it-to-me, closed type of energy. Therefore, a healthy bit of skepticism is fine as long as you are willing to leave your mind open to the possibilities of Spirit communication. Hearing from those in Spirit can be a joyous, funny, healing and beautiful experience.

One thing you can always expect…expect the unexpected!

For over ten years now I have been serving as a messenger for Spirit. In my years of connecting with those whose physical lives have ended and now are "on the other side", I have witnessed many life changing events. The Spirit world and those who reside in it never cease to amaze me. The overwhelming need for those on the other side to let us know that life continues, and that they are still aware of us is incredibly strong.

In one sitting, I connected with a little boy who had lost his life long battle with a rare form of cancer at the tender age of seven years old. During our conversation he mentioned many detailed events about his experience. He told of his inability to eat, his many blood tests, and his times spent in bed. He tried very hard to describe his very specialized care and how his mom and dad had to learn many things that even some trained nurses couldn't do. He also light heartily pointed out that his mom still kept freeze pops in the freezer. This proved to be an important fact as I later learned that there were times when this was all he could eat. This very special boy never really complained during his difficult life here. Instead he took in every moment. When he was feeling well ( in between bouts of severe sickness) he played with his siblings, laughed and was joyous. Literally living one moment at a time. He told his mother that he knew about a book she was writing. He asked her to get going on it again as it was very important work. *His mother had taken a break from writing at this time. He talked of how he knew it was easier for his dad to know when he was around. * I later learned that his dad is very intuitive himself and would often talk of visits from their son. As our session went on, it included many more details about the life of this incredible boy and his family.

This boy's mother was sent to me on a recommendation from a friend. She had never been to a medium before and was a bit skeptical and nervous about our meeting. Since our session, she has written to tell me how comforting and healing this experience was for her. It's opened up a space for her to move forward and continue to heal.

It is my life's work, bridging this physical world with the world of Spirit. It is an honor and a privilege to be of service. The messages of love, hope, and everyday occurrences that those on the other side convey are nothing short of extraordinary. Life does continue and our loved ones do see and hear us. They visit us and try to let us know of their presence. Connecting with those on the other side is like learning a new language. We must use senses in some cases long repressed by us over the years. We must learn how to relax and not demand. Be still, and be aware of everything around us. Nothing is a coincidence. Trust in oneself. Listen from within. We are not alone.
