Welcome to the Spring 2010 Issue - 'Begin Again'

Ahhhhh, springtime, it seems to be most people's favorite season with its perfect temperatures, although sometimes a bit unpredictable in New England. Flower bulbs stretch their necks, rub their eyes and peek out of their cool damp beds. Spring is the time to; enjoy serenades from Pinkletinks and birds, covet warm vacant beaches, enjoy longer light, and honor our mothers. As the butterfly sheds its cozy cocoon, we shed our homes and coats and emerge into the spring air.

Springtime on Martha's Vineyard brings the return of the Flying Horses Carousel, Dairy Queen, and the Opsreys. During spring many seasonal businesses dust themselves off preparing for another busy summer ahead. Even spring's name speaks to us announcing it is time to; 'rise, leap and move swiftly into action.'
